I found this story to be something I could relate to and understand all to well. I have known many women in abusive relationships and people who grew up in abusive homes. Sadly many do not get to chose who they have as parents. We go through life making the best choices we can and pray we don't repeat the bad decisions our parents made. I love Hope and Raymond's story and Mamma Lou reminds me of my own grandmother. We all have that nosey relative that likes to be in your business and push you out of your own way. They mean well and they do what they do out of love. Great story and I know anyone would enjoy reading it as much as I did.Product details

This is the first book I read from Celeste O Norfleet.....LOVED IT!!! Love me some Momma Lou. I got me plenty of laughs and yes plenty of romance from this book. I am going to buy every book there is in the series. I have added Celeste to my list of great authors.
I love this series. I like the different ways Mamma Lou has of getting her loved ones matched up without them knowing what hit them.
Another sure thing is that Celeste Norfleet is gifted in the pen. She has such an exciting way of spinning a story that keeps the reader wanting more.
This was the most amazing, entertaining story! Mama Lou is the BEST! Hope and Raymond had no clue that this sweet little old lady would go to such extremes to match make and give them the "Happily Ever After" that they refused to believe existed. Bravo for Ms. Norfleet for another link in a beautiful chain of Love.

I enjoyed the story, but it was poorly edited. Wrong words, often wrong tense of verbs, and very often inconsistencies, for example, Hope finished her graveyard shift in ER, and "stepped outside to dusk, not quite dark". Poor editing decreased my enjoyment greatly.
I have been reading Ms, Norfleet novels for a while now. I love her writing skills, and how she tells a story. I especially love the way she does her series work. I am in the process of reading all the books in this series. I know it is an old series and that some of them are in reprint. I enjoyed this story very much and I give it 5 stars.
This was a cute story and the story line was interesting. But I did find myself skipping through parts of the book because it seemed to have just filler text at times. The description of places and people just seemed to go on and on. It wasn't an extremely boring read but it should have been shorter. The editing leaves me to believe that the author accidentaly published her draft instead of the final copy. There were just plain strange typos throughout the book.
This review is based on my point of view. I suggest you read a sample and see if it is something you would like.
